The CHEO 100 is a 100 kilometre go-cart race with all proceeds donated to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.
The CHEO 100 will take place on August 23rd, 2009 from 11am to 4pm. There will be go-karting, mini golf, a driving range, and plenty of other events for those not driving.
Karter's Korner's will be host to the 1st Annual CHEO 100... and we're happy to announce that there will be fun things to do for everyone!
All proceeds from this event are donated to the kids @ CHEO, so the more you and your family get involved...the more money we will raise.
3 ways to get involved:
1) Driving in the CHEO 100 Go-Kart Challenge
There will be three 15 lap go kart races with a maximum of 30 drivers. The top 10 drivers from those 3 races will race an extra 15 laps to determine the podium spots. First place driver will win $500 - all others will be in a draw for other great prizes.
2) Bring the Family and enjoy the day!
If you're not driving you can enjoy unlimited use of the driving range, mini putt, kiddy karts and volleyball courts - all for a $5 donation to CHEO (payable @ the door). Kids will also have lots of chance to drive the big go-karts with their parents!
3) The CHEO 100 Cannonball Run
New to this years CHEO 100 is our version of a Cannonball Run. 20 drivers will pay $20 and drive one lap in a go-kart...the fastest lap takes 1/2 the pot, the other 1/2 goes to CHEO.
